Voices for Better Health is doing great work to promote integrated care for people with both Medicare and Medicaid through innovative demonstration projects. Their efforts are making a difference in raising awareness of the need for creative strategies to meet the needs of this very vulnerable population.
As part of this effort, Voices for Better Health just released this video, and we are very pleased that Commonwealth Care Alliance’s Senior Care Options program is featured.
The video highlights the experience of Edna and her mother and best friend, Sally.
When Edna struggled to find out information about her aging mother’s health, she knew something needed to change. She helped her mother Sally enroll in Commonwealth Care Alliance’s Senior Care Options program (link to our site), an integrated care program for older adults who have Medicare and MassHealth, or just MassHealth Standard.
Edna saw changes to her mother’s health and happiness right away, and that’s what our work is all about: delivering the care and support services our members need to live independent, healthier and happier lives.
